With SO much choice out there for whippet clothing it can be overwhelming. One way to overcome this is to choose a colour scheme that you love – whippets suit most colours and aren’t going to complain if you choose the wrong shade of grey – then you can build on it within that range resulting in a co-ordinated wardrobe of key pieces that your dog will get the most wear out of – giving you the best value for money.
Let’s face it, we all have more clothing than we need. And so do our dogs. Guilty! Our two have a large range of rainwear, cold daywear, lounging around wear, you get the picture. BUT of late I have questioned how much is in my own wardrobe and thus what is in theirs.
When you get a whippet, they have some basic clothing needs. Clothing that will keep them warm and dry in the kind of weather your whippet will give you attitude about if expected to go out naked! By sticking to a colour scheme it will focus your purchasing and you should avoid buying items your whippet doesn't need.

Has your dog got clothing you don't use? Coats that don't fit or you don't like? this selection of best selling items gives the most wearabitity. You can easily add more fleeces and perhaps a tee shirt to build on the basics and stop making clothing choices that just sit in the cupboard.

Collar and Lead in Mist – a soft leather collar, that if treated well will be long lasting, complete with matching rope lead. Both have brass fittings for a classic look.
The Norwich coat in Dove Grey - a lovely soft colour. It can be worn with or without harness. Worn alone on warm wet days or layered up for colder days. This colour is probably better suited to city dwellers and whippets who don’t love to roll or get muddy!
Fleece Jumper in Black – the item you will reach for on most days in the autumn and winter. A figure-hugging shape to keep your whippet’s core and neck warm. A jumper they can run around, or lounge around in, a really good all-rounder.
Why buy everything together?
Since we are able to produce the items in our Working Wardrobes boxes in an efficient manner, we are able to pass on the saving to you. On average this will be around 10% saving over buying each of the products individually.
How do you make these pieces work?
The jumper and coat can be worn solo or layered up – covering your whippet from chilly to cold days.
The lead and collar will be worn all year round and if looked after will give the best value in a cost per wear calculation.
What about sizes?
Working Wardrobe boxes are offered in 3 adult sizes: Small, Medium and Large
Small – whippets who are crossed with Italian greyhounds or are just small, up to 10kgs with a back length of 19”.
Medium – whippets of average size, boys and girls, up to 15kgs with back length of 22”
Large – whippets on the bigger side, boys or maybe girls crossed with salukis, up to 19kgs with back length of 24”.
