Following on from the popularity of our Fleece Jumper for Whippets, we are very happy to now offer our Fleece Jumper for Greyhounds. I know that the longer the leg, the harder it is to get jumpers on, so this has been designed with your hound in mind. It has a velcro opening down one side making it super easy to get on and off your greyhound.
Our Fleece Jumper for Whippets with our unique long collars and elasticated waists is one of our most popular products. It didn’t seem fair not to offer a Fleece Jumper for Greyhounds. So, with a bit of help from Monty, Roxy and Livingstone, we are able now to offer it in two sizes. Small Greyhound is good for the ladies or cross breeds, and Standard Greyhound is good for the big boys out there.
A regular closed jumper would be impossible for long-legged Greyhounds to get in and out of, so our jumper has a unique velcro opening on one side. This is demonstrated by Monty in the photographs. Remember that the under panel is shorter than the top so that it works for boys, and the top panel is not designed to go all the way to the top of the tail.
Small Greyhound – this is good for smaller female greyhounds and lurchers
Standard Greyhound – this is good for the large greyhounds, it will also fit a lurcher who might have Wolf Hound in the mix.
Small Greyhound – will fit a dog who’s back length is 66-76cms (26-28″) Chest of 66-71cms (26-28″)
Actual measurements are: Neck: 46-50cms, Chest: 80-88cms, Length: 52cms
Standard Greyhound – will fit a dog who’s back length is 76-82cms (30-32″) Chest of 71-75cms (28-30″)
Actual measurements are: Neck: 50-56cms, Chest: 84-96cms, Length: 66cms
